Energy Follows Thought

"Energy follows thought." — Master Choa Kok Sui

This is the foundational principle of pranic healing — of any energy healing, really. And there's no hidden meaning in it. It is exactly what it says. What you nurture grows. What you consistently ignore, dims.

But what is energy here, exactly? In pranic healing, prana is the life force that runs through everything — your body, your thoughts, your emotions. It's what keeps you vital, focused, functioning. And it responds directly to where your attention goes. Direct it well, and you feel it. Neglect it — or worse, leak it into worry and rumination — and you feel that too.

Energy is neutral by nature. Which means it's moldable. Not just by healers — by you. You can direct it, shape it, make it work for you. Or you can spend your time playing catch-up.

But here's something interesting, not all energy loss is loud. A lot of it is slow, quiet, habitual. The thought you keep returning to. The story you keep telling yourself. The worry that runs on low volume in the background.

And this isn't "look on the bright side" wisdom. Choosing where your energy goes is a real, sometimes difficult, daily practice. It means catching yourself. Going against the pull of old patterns. Choosing differently — again and again — committing to it, because it's not easy, but you know it matters.

That's the inner work.

Arundhati
