Glimpses of Abundance

Updated: Jan 5

This month, our WhatsApp community completed a 14-day abundance challenge. The intention was simple: notice the abundance we already live with. When we shift our awareness from lack to appreciation, we open the door to growth, prosperity, and a deeper sense of enoughness.

Across these 14 days, we explored different areas of life – health, relationships, material wellbeing, emotional richness, and more. The reflections that emerged were honest, grounded, and beautiful.

Here are some of the realisations shared by our Anvani souls.

There are so many people who have been kind to me and who have supported me throughout my lifetime; some still around, others long gone, and still others here but faded away in the background. Like Maya Angelou so aptly says, “I’ve had rainbows in my clouds.” I thank God for every single one and for the rainbows that they created in my life. Thier kindness and support have helped to  propel me forward!

I am so blessed to have had the opportunities, education, guidance, and experiences, that have have helped me achieve a level of knowledge and unique combination of expertise in my field all of which enable me to offer a unique set of skills that very few possess.

I am so very grateful for all the abundance in my life and the joy that it brings🙏🏽

I’m so proud of how far I have come. I don’t usually acknowledge the journey, but has been so rewarding.

I’m a lecturer and not even once in my lifetime I imagined teaching Master students in Europe, topics that inspire me. I’m fascinated how my life evolved. The skills that made it happen are resilience, flexibility, openness to learning and self development, eagerness for self improvement. The opportunities that came in my life, came magically. And in the process I have had great support from my mentors, parents, husband who has seen me through various phases of life.

I’m so grateful and so so lucky to be living the life I am living. Sitting amidst wonderful talented people everyday, unable to believe how did I end up here.

Traveling today, so sharing my handbag- my tiny universe in motion.

As I cleaned it, I was reminded -“यथा पिंड तथा ब्रह्माण्ड” the outer world always echoes the inner one.

When the mind feels light, everything flows easier.

5 simple things that I am really grateful for and that makes my life smoother:

1. My bed - It is so so comfortable and I got a really good deal while getting it xD

2. My laptop - I need it every waking minute and I am so grateful it is running smoothly.

3. My window's location - I get so much sunlight during the day and it keeps me so positive.

4. A fully functional gym in my apartment - With such a hectic schedule, it is a blessing that I have a gym in my apartment so that I don't have to go anywhere and I can get that 45 -50 mins of workout even when I am v busy

5. My desk and its location close to the window - It makes work so much better with natural sunlight through out the day. Not an elaborate setup but still perfect!

Dear Money,

When I first started working, I carried a deep, effortless belief that you would always come to me.

I focused on doing my work wholeheartedly, trusting that you would flow in, and you did. You showed up in abundance, naturally, without force or fear.

Over time, that belief slowly shifted. The trust I once had turned into questions: "How will I get money for this? What if I don't have enough for that?"

Even in those moments of doubt, you continued to support me. You showed up when I needed you, and the work always got done.

Yet somewhere along the way, fear took up space where faith once lived.

Today, through this exercise, I choose to return to that healthier, truer belief.

- I choose to trust that money comes to me easily.

- I choose to believe that I am capable not only of receiving money, but also of holding it.

- I choose to use it joyfully, supporting myself, my family, and being of service to others.

- I acknowledge that there is enough.

- I acknowledge that I can create more.

- I welcome you with gratitude rather than fear.

Thank you for flowing into my life, even when my mindset made it harder to see your presence.

I am ready to rebuild a relationship with you that is grounded in trust, appreciation, and abundance.

With renewed faith,

Batul

MONEY

Dear Money,

We need to talk honestly, gently and with a bit of courage.

I grew up hearing a lot of things about you. Some of them were whispered, some warned.

I thought I had to choose between having you and being a good person. I thought that wanting more of you meant I was asking for too much from life..

But now I would like to rewrite the story between us.

I would like to see you as a partner, not a source of stress, as a resource, as a tool for freedom and generosity. Having more money doesn’t make me greedy it makes me capable.

You are safe to receive, safe to keep, and safe to grow.

Thank you for all the ways you’ve supported me already, even when I didn’t treat you with trust or appreciation.

I’m ready to build a healthier relationship with you...

-With openness and gratitude.

My go-to people who are like a soft blanket that brings the best kind of comfort...who inspite of their turmoil and trials always bring calmness and stability in most situations but mostly panic situations are my sister-in-law Anjali and my dearest friend and confidant Sujatha! They are both such a wonderful blessing! I am sure both their shoulders are worn out over time! ❤😅🤗

After reading the word calm, one name immediately popped in my mind - Chinu - my dog - my little brother. Just being with him makes everything good. Obviously he doesn’t speak a word but while petting him it feels I am calming myself down. He’s the biggest blessing to my family.

Also, my parents and my boyfriend. Whatever might be happening, the feeling that I have with these 3 with me, makes it better. Around them I can be a child again and can switch my mind off and not worry about anything.

Task for the day: Step outside. Observe one element—tree, breeze, soil, sunlight—and simply watch it for a full minute.

"I was just clicking a picture of the same and this msg came at same time.

This plant had completely gone dull with no leaves. We thought we would have to remove it.

And all of sudden it started recovering and BLOSSOMING even more than before!

I am learning a life lesson from this plantie. We can Bloom back even after a fall! ❤💕
